The short version
We collect the details you type into our contact form so we can reply to you. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not share your details with anyone except the service providers that keep this site running.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message we receive your first and last name, work email, your message, and the company and city if you choose to fill them in. We use these only to respond to you and, if we start working together, to set up the engagement. The message is emailed to our team through Google Workspace and kept in our mailbox.
Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block automated submissions. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information such as device and browser data and send it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The reCAPTCHA script loads only on the contact page, and only after you start filling in the form.
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It is cookieless and does not store IP addresses or build a profile of you. It records the page viewed, referrer, country, device type and browser, plus a few anonymous events such as "contact form submitted". Visitors are identified only by a temporary hash that is discarded after 24 hours.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps short-lived request logs that include IP address, requested page, timestamp and browser type. These are used for security and troubleshooting and are not combined with contact form data.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies on the contact page to tell humans from bots. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that run this site, and only for that purpose: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (Workspace email and reCAPTCHA), and Cloudflare (domain name services). We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages stay in our email for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting work, then they are deleted. Analytics data is held in aggregate only. Hosting logs are retained by Vercel for a short period under its own policy.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Since we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To make a request, use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and delivered to our mailbox through an authenticated, encrypted email service. Access to that mailbox is limited to the Neptune Ventures team.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here for at least 30 days.
